冰糖雪耳炖木瓜

燕窝滋阴养颜人人皆知,雪耳(银耳/白木耳)也有异曲同工之妙,人人负担得起又环保,更是二十五岁后少不得的营养滋补佳品。 


材料:雪耳,木瓜(小型),红枣(2粒),冰糖
  1. 开一锅水,放入雪耳,木瓜和红枣炖约两小时,最后加冰糖。
PS: 雪耳隔夜浸水发透。

中西荷兰薯片

材料:荷兰薯(2-3粒),干香菜 aka. dried parsley (optional)
  1. 荷兰薯去皮,切薄片。
  2. 中火热牛油/橄榄油,薯片铺平锅,慢煎两面至金黄色。
  3. 上碟后滴酱油搅匀,撒上dried pasley 点缀。

最感动的礼物

TO MY LOVELY ZHUMA FATTY GIRL.

First of all, we are here wish you happy birthday and enjoy your unforgettable day, wish you will enjoy your birthday with Sean, Yee and your friends over there. Unfortunately we are unable to join your birthday. Never mind, we will celebrate with you when you are back to Malaysia, I will buy you your favourite dinner at (Dragon Door Restaurant) or where else you like, you want steamboat or other dinner.

The reason I choose this picture, firstly I don’t know what card to choose, secondly is to represent you three are my lovely Boys and Girls can really always enjoy your life with the one you all love much and your friends around you just like the above Penguins freely moving around. Hopefully you like it.

I recalled, when you age between 1 to 7, you looked cute, sweet and lovely, when you were teenage you were sweet, quiet, lovely and attractive, now you are still lovely, soft voice and sweet, but sometimes noisy. Hehe right.

Everybody in this world has to grow up and learn how to independent. I remembered what your grandma told me, when I was 1 year old learning to walk, being a parent has to teach and holding our hands walking, when and as we grow up and know how to walk stably, you have to walk yourself and choose the correct road you want to go, look for it, consider carefully, the bright road is in front of you, you have to choose which is the best and suitable way for us to go.

Besides, Is not easy being a human being in this world, living in this world we need to mix around with all walks of life and must to know our human nature so that we can go further with people around you. Either in study or step in to this society to works, firstly you have to know how to get along with the people around you, that will make your life and works easier, So don’t confuse yourself. Whatever the problems that arise, be calm and steady, think how to solve it, for sure will be easy to solve, that is my pass experience.

Ok la, I am talking too much, before close this chapter. Again wish you happy birthday. Forever be happy.

第一次

外星人事件后,健康警钟响起了,隔天就看医生检查身体,量血压,测试全身神经反应,还好一切正常,体内行不行医生就无法判断,他写了介绍信要我到医院抽血作深入检查。

二十多年来第一次验血,怕痛又怕血的我有点怕怕,还好波波在外陪着我壮胆,当显示荧幕跳到89号时,我故作勇敢地走进房,房里每个角落各坐一个护士,共四个,护士旁放着一张大椅子,像看牙医的那种,左边胖胖的,画了一大片蓝眼影的护士招手叫我,听口音应该不是英国人,但不要紧,最重要温柔又技术好,果然,三五分钟就从我右手抽了两小罐的血,针刺进肉不疼是假的,但比我想像的温和许多。Bedford医院效率超高,前后过程半句钟就搞掂,迷了路又遇到友善的神父带路,让冷冷的医院添了一丝温暖。

水饺汤

一包水饺皮大约有18片,18颗水饺两个人一餐吃不消,一半炸,另一半放冰箱,第二天用来滚汤,一样好味道。


材料: 水饺,萝卜(1条,切块),葱(两株,切粒)
  1. 萝卜和开水一起滚越半小时。
  2. 放水饺,浮起来后就代表熟了。
  3. 加少许盐,胡椒粉,鸡粉调味,最后放上葱粒。
PS:葱管里藏有很多泥土,得冲洗多次去之,尽量避免生吃,放汤上的也得稍煮杀菌,以免惹上A型肝炎。

被外星人抓走了

昨晚半夜波波起身上厕所,睡得甘甜的我跳起来也跟着去了,刚进厕所,站着,突然反胃眼眩,砰!……

不知过了多久,张开眼睛时,还在厕所里,只见波波扶着我,呼吸急促十万火急地叫醒我,就像电影里的情节般,一点都不夸张,我不知发生了什么事,被他的反应吓着了(不知谁吓谁),也忘了波波一直对我说些什么,只觉得耳鸣头好晕,额头好痛,我奇怪的看着他推开他,然后傻傻地去继续完成小解还洗了手,步伐浮浮地走回房间,倒头就睡……

波波急急忙忙跟来把我拉起来,把我的枕头垫高让我躺着,他那紧张的表情和口吻还持续着,摸我的头,叫我动手脚,手里拿着电话要打999但被我阻止了,我这才了解到原来刚才有那么严重哦,神智慢慢地被风油唤了回来,眼泪也直流不停,心想如果醒不来怎么办,还是这是中风的前兆,望一望钟,凌晨三点三……

今天醒来,额头还痛,照照镜子,表皮红红的但还好没有起洋毛楼。想起昨晚,在厕所里好一大段记忆空白了,难道就像Pixar短片中的外星人要把睡梦中的地球人给捉走,过程中错误百出,导致地球人跌跌撞撞?而它们又怎么会料到我突然间会跳起来去小解呢?呵呵呵……

余补:
起床时,看见波波的护身神牌放在床边,他应该是担心外星人会再回来抓我吧?!嘻嘻。

波波下午回来陪我吃午餐,对昨晚心有余悸,说起来比我想象中的严重几倍有多,问我记不记得这,记不记得那,不记得了。原来我是整个人向前直倒,头撞到墙,还好地上有个旅行袋缓冲,才不至于脑震荡。

原来不省人事的时间也比我想的还长,醒来时神情像没事发生一样,但手脚无力, 脸色刷白,最厉害还会继续上厕所还洗手,然后身子一软,他拖我进房放我上床,为什么记忆中好像是自己走回房间爬上床睡觉,嗯,调皮的外星人!

炸水饺

炸水饺,妈妈的强项,家人的最爱!


材料:水饺皮,猪肉碎,马蹄梨(切粒), 红萝卜(切粒)

调味料:盐和糖少许,酱油,蚝油,麻油,粟粉,胡椒粉(如肉騷味重,多加胡椒粉盖之)
  1. 猪肉碎和调味料搅匀,加入马蹄梨和萝卜,腌半小时。
  2. 水饺皮包肉馅,水饺皮边点清水黏。
  3. 油滚,转中火,炸水饺至外皮金黄酥脆。
PS:
  1. 用直径小的有盖锅最为理想:省油,温度集中。要减少皮肉之痛和善后清洁,盖子最好盖上,每隔几分钟翻面或检查。
  2. 把刚炸好的水饺铺在吸油纸上后再上桌。
  3. 粟粉又称玉米粉(corn flour)。

波波潮州蒸

波波潮州人,他得意的拿手好菜就是自创的潮州蒸,如果要他下厨,三餐里两餐跑不了这道菜。鳗鱼,三文鱼,非洲鱼,石甲。。。什么鱼都潮州蒸,还好这煮法酸酸辣辣鱼不腥,而且很下饭,我才拜师为潮州蒸徒弟,呵呵!


材料:鱼,腌梅子(2粒),指天椒(1-2条,切粒),番茄(1粒),姜(切片),冬菇(浸软切条)
  1. 鱼内外抹盐,腌10分钟。
  2. 铺上姜片,指天椒,冬菇,番茄和腌梅子(捏一捏更出味),加大约一汤匙的腌梅子的汁。
  3. 大火蒸10-15分钟。(检查鱼熟否,火炉蒸炉家家不同,火候时间自调,煮太久鱼肉会柴。)
PS:这次用vine cherry tomato取代番茄,味道更香甜。

海南鸡饭

来自中国海南岛的白切文昌鸡饭,或源起于新加坡的海南鸡饭,哪个才是真正的海南鸡饭,对我来说不重要,味道好还比较实在,至于谁比较厉害只有真正吃过的人才予置评。

马来西亚的海南鸡饭比比皆是,各师各法,档档的味道大不同,鸡肉新鲜滑嫩是最基本的条件,而另外明显的分别就是饭和淋鸡的酱汁,具备以上好条件的鸡饭档不多,但也不难找,应该试5档就会中1档吧!

在英国,没有kampung 鸡,更甭说现买现杀,这里超市卖的鸡种分为三大类:普通,谷伺(corn fed)及走地鸡(free range)。谷伺鸡和走地鸡的价钱是普通鸡的双倍,最奢侈的就是谷伺走地鸡,比普通的鸡肉贵多三至四倍,而肉质当然也是和价钱等值的。便宜的,贵的,各有所途:煎炸烤用的,普通鸡就可以了,而贵的就是清蒸滚汆的不二选。

自己在家做菜最好走中庸之道,别寒酸亏待家人的胃,也别餐餐上等材料大鱼大肉,这才称之家里的味道!

材料:谷伺鸡,蒜头(6瓣),蒜蓉,葱蓉,薑蓉。

白切鸡简易煮法:
  1. 鸡抹盐,腌15分钟。
  2. 用清水盖过鸡,开大火,水滚后熄火,浸半小时。
  3. 取出,稍凉后切块,即成。
鸡饭做法:
  1.  爆香蒜蓉,葱蓉和薑蓉。
  2. 米洗好后,倒入鸡汤(海南鸡饭的灵魂)。放盐,蒜头,爆香过的蒜蓉,葱蓉和薑蓉。
PS:
  1. 用剩的鸡汤别浪费,放入时菜及一点盐和胡椒粉滚一滚,又是一道菜。或者留着第二天煮面或粥也不错。
  2. 用谷伺鸡的原因是它黄皮肉嫩,价钱相宜。
  3. 以上皆为懒人简易做法,真正的海南鸡饭应该比这复杂个十倍吧。
